re-entering the heliosphere
- a scrollable journey through our solar system

The Solar SystemSun · Mercury · Venus · Earth · Mars · Jupiter · Saturn · Uranus · Neptune

Nine worlds, one star, one continuous flight. The camera holds a full clockwise orbit around each body before gliding on to the next - from the furnace at the centre to the cold blue edge.

The Sun

A 5,500°C plasma engine that holds every other body in this scene captive. Begins your journey.

🌍

The Inner Worlds

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars - four rocky planets bathed in stellar wind and atmosphere.

🪐

The Outer Giants

Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune - gas, ice, rings, and the silent edge of the heliosphere.

- how the flythrough works

Nine stops. One scroll, one continuous orbit

You'll fly the path of the Sun's gravity. At each body the camera completes a single orbit while a caption introduces the world. Click any planet to open its dossier - composition, scale, and NASA imagery.

i. scroll

Travel the orbit

Wheel or trackpad drifts the camera through all nine bodies. Arrows and Space nudge you along.

ii. click

Enter a body

Tap any planet when you're close. A dossier opens with stats, classification and NASA HD imagery.

iii. jump

Use the rail

The right rail lists every body. Click a label to skip ahead. Reach the edge and the loop wraps.
